If you have a relationship with Farmers or one of its affiliates as a result of products or services provided through an employer, benefit plan or plan sponsor, we will follow the privacy restrictions of that organization. We are permitted to disclose personal health information:
(1) to process your transaction with us, for instance, to determine eligibility for coverage, to process claims or to prevent fraud;
(2) with your written authorization, and

When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice.
Sharing Information with Affiliates
AP Agency is a Captive Farmers Insurance Agency. Therefore our primary Affiliate is The Farmers Insurance Group® of Companies which includes affiliates that offer a variety of financial products and services in addition to insurance. Sharing information enables our affiliates to offer you a more complete range of products and services.
We may disclose nonpublic personal information, as described above in Information We Collect, as permitted by law to our affiliates, which include:
• Financial service providers such as insurance companies and reciprocals, investment companies, underwriters, and brokers/dealers.
• Non-financial service providers, such as data processors, billing companies and vendors that provide marketing services for us.
We are permitted by law to share with our affiliates information about our transactions and experiences with you. In addition, we may share with our affiliates consumer report information, such as information from credit reports and certain application information, received from you and from third parties, such as consumer reporting agencies and insurance support organizations.
Modifications to our Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy practices in the future, which may include sharing nonpublic personal information about you with other nonaffiliated third parties. Before we make any changes, we will provide you with a revised privacy notice and give you the opportunity to opt-out of, or, if applicable, to opt-in to that type of information sharing.

For all AP Agency customers: If you prefer that we discontinue the sharing the information that we have collected you may email [email protected] with your request to purge your information from our system or you can call us at 1-970-315-4628 and let any of our Agents know that you would like to be added to our Do Not Call registry and we will process the request within a reasonable time after we receive the request.
SMS Message Communications from AP Agency
If you wish to stop receiving text messages from us, reply STOP to stop texts from AP Agency at any time.
SMS Messaging Privacy Policy & Terms and Conditions
AP Agency (“AP Agency”, “we”, or “us”) operates a SMS messaging program (the “Program”)
subject to these SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions (these “SMS Messaging Terms”). Your SMS Messaging acceptance is strictly between you, AP Agency and the service providers we use for this Program, we will never share, trade, or otherwise sell your SMS consent to third parties under any circumstances.
1. Program Description: We may send promotional and transactional SMS messages in various formats through the Program. Promotional messages advertise and promote our products and services. Transactional messages relate to an existing or ongoing transaction and
may include Quote updates, appointment reminders, and other transaction-related information. SMS messages may be sent using an automated technology, automated system, or automatic telephone dialing system. Message frequency will vary but will not exceed 5 messages per Week. You agree that we may send you messages regarding the foregoing topics or any topic and that such messages and/or calls may be made or placed using different telephone numbers or short codes, except in connection with marketing purposes. We do not charge for mobile messages sent through the Program but you are responsible for any message and data rates imposed by your mobile provider, as standard data and message rates may apply for short message service and multimedia message alerts.
2. User Opt-In: Either by contact form, verbally or messaging us first, you are voluntarily opting in to the SMS Program and you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from us at the mobile phone number associated with your opt-in, even if such number is registered on any state or federal “Do Not Call” list. You agree that any mobile phone number you provide to us is a valid mobile phone number of which you are the owner or authorized user. If you change your mobile phone number or are no longer the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number, you agree to promptly notify us at [email protected] or (970) 315-4628. Your participation in the Program does not require that you make any purchase from us and your participation in the Program is completely voluntary.
3. User Opt-Out and Support: You may opt-out of the Program at any time. If you wish to opt-out of the Program and stop receiving SMS messages from us, or you no longer agree to these SMS Messaging Terms, reply STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, OPT-OUT, and/or UNSUBSCRIBE to the mobile number the message is sent from. You may continue to receive text messages for a short period while we process your request and you may receive a one-time opt-out confirmation message. You understand and agree that the foregoing is the only reasonable method of opting out. If you want to join the Program again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending messages to you again. For support, reply HELP to any mobile message from us. Our mobile messaging platform may not recognize requests that modify the foregoing commands, and you agree that we and our service providers will not be liable for failing to honor requests that do not comply with the requirements in these SMS Messaging Terms. We may also change the telephone number or short code we use to operate the Program and we will notify you of any such change. You acknowledge that any requests sent to a telephone number or short code that has been changed may not be received by us and we will not be responsible for failing to honor a request sent to a telephone number or short code that has been changed.
4. Disclaimer of Warranty and Liability: The Program is offered on an “as-is” basis and may not be available in all areas, at all times, or on all mobile providers. You agree that neither we nor our service providers will be liable for any failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any mobile message or information sent through the Program.
5. Modifications: We may modify or cancel the Program or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these SMS Messaging Terms at any time. Any such modification will take effect when it is posted to our website. You agree to review these SMS Messaging Terms periodically to ensure that you are aware of any modifications. Your continued participation in the Program will constitute your acceptance of those modifications.
